In May 2026, Xunlong Zhizao LLC announced the start of mass supply of a new generation of high-strength integrated dies for thermoforming door rings.
This die is the first of its kind in China, and is equipped with a high-precision zonal temperature control system, which can solve the major industry problems in forming PHS2000 ultra-high-strength steel, including cracking and significant material rebound effect.
The die life exceeds 500,000 cycles, the molding accuracy is ±0.03 mm, and one complete tooling allows the production of up to 300,000 door rings per year.
The products are already being supplied in series to leading Chinese car manufacturers using new energy sources. The use of new door rings significantly increases body rigidity and reduces vehicle weight by approximately 8 kg, which has a positive effect on the energy efficiency of the vehicle.
To date, Xunlong Zhizao LLC maintains a leading position in market share in the segment of hot molding dies for automobile door rings and continues to promote the replacement of imported high-tech dies with domestic solutions.
